Creating positive attitudes and behaviors

Why Mentor+?

Juvenile justice system (JJS) youth are among the most vulnerable members of society. According to research, jail does not address their needs and frequently leads to harmful behavioral and mental health repercussions. Research in the field of adolescent delinquency shows a positive correlation between mentoring relationships and increased social capital, such as self-esteem, education, and employment achievements (Kelley & Lee, 2018)
