A Mentoring Programme for justice-involved Youth
Research confirms that mentoring with children in conflict with the law can reduce recidivism, enhance the prosocial protective factors of justice-involved youth and provide crucial restorative service contributions to under resourced communities. The final Result will be available on the project website and other open platforms in order to be downloaded and adapted.
A Mentors’ Handbook for mentoring justice-involved Youth
This result serves as a guide for mentors and provides them with a range of materials to assist them in delivering sessions aligned with the intervention RNR model & protective factors. The Handbook will assist the mentors, and includes concepts that may contribute to effective mentoring relationships, general guidelines, prepared mentoring activities sheets, aligned with the expected results.
A mobile application to support the mentoring programme
the “Mentor+" mobile APP will bring to the Mentoring Programme the opportunity to create different group areas: it will have a common room for mentoring coordinators, and another common room for mentors. These rooms will give them the space to interact and exchange experiences. The APP will allow mentors to contact the mentees to provide online support (chat), and schedule face-to-face meetings. Moreover, it will have a dedicated space where mentors can plan their sessions and get easy access to the Handbook tools.
